Colloborative Project

This project is a group project about the quarry in portland stone, is a project to a client and if our project is chosen it will pass on the 2012 London Olympic game. In our group there are 5 persons and i am responsible for the special effects and 3d animation, the rest of the group is the sound, 2d animations and dvd authoring and our idea is to make an interactive dvd about the portland stone, and we decided to do different animations about the portland stone, about the history the building where they used portland stone and the techniques to extrat the stone from the quarry, the animations i was responsible were the explosion in the quarry, the slideshows of random buildings that contain portland stone and a 3d stone coming out from a building and resposnible for the final editing, the name of our group is pedraproductions, and we have a website where if anyone is interested to know about more can visited and see the animations and our ideas http://pedraproductions.webs.com/. I m realy enjoing to work in this group we   are getting really well with each other, and everybody is happy with the work so far, and we have an exellent chance to be the chosen project, our project will be about 3 min lenght full of animations that we created, and each member of the group is working realy hard to get the best quality in the project and we are in a good way to that happens, and all the presentations so far went really well i can say exelent like a professional group, words said by our teachers, and we are very optimist for the final product, and when the sound effects will be sycronize with the video, will be an amazing dvd, and so far everybody did the work that was responsible for, we had some problems with 3d modules because of some textures but now everything is solved, and we can start to focus on the final editind and the creation of the real dvd, that we have to present next week, so we have to continue with the hard work and make the best project ever.
Two days to our final presentation, and the project is already finished, i edited all the final piece in final cut, and i am waiting for the sound that the sound guys are doing so that i can sycronize with the video, and the group will be ready for the presentation, and the overall project is really good and we hope all to have a good mark. My favourite part of this project was when i apply the trapcode particular in to the quarry explosion, i really enjoy to do that because that is my big research, special effects, and i think the final product went really well, and  i will continue to work with trapcode and try new things, and the next step will be to destroy a building with a tank using trapcode particular and particles systems in 3ds max, will be awesome.
